Happy Canada Day!

It was a great day around here today! My parents are visiting from Alberta and my brother and Natalie came to visit from the neighbouring parish in Melville. We went to the Canada Day parade and then came home for hotdogs. Then we threw the football around a bit in the afternon for a while followed by some Cribbage. My Dad and I skunked Murray and Natalie and won the other game. We then had BBQ ribs and Natalie brought a great rhubarb crisp for desert. Now we are waiting around for the Canada Day fireworks. Lots of fun and a great day!

It was a great day! I am gorwing more and more intrigued about some of the life down in New Orleans from your posts. Maybe some day I will have to come and check it out!

Glad you had a great time!

Today is the day (4th of July)af that we Yanks celebrate the freedom that we once had and that we are rapidly losing!

It's exciting watching your country unravel right before your very eyes!
